Todi (central Umbria)

a town with its medieval historic center set on a picturesque hilltop, parts of the town buildings dating back to the 1200's, while archeological finds show Todi dates back to the 8th-7th century BC.   The historic center is larger than a typical town, but smaller than a city, and there is plenty to do there.  Many restaurants and shops line streets that lead up to the main square, the Piazza del Popolo, with the beautiful Cathedral of Santissima Annunziata on one end, and old palaces surrounding the piazza.  The Church of San Fortunato is another beauty of historic architecture.

The agent, Daniela, showed me a property listing for one of my customers and friend in the states who visited Todi and found it so nice, she is considering buying a place there.  But Daniela, who heads the social media area of her office, had an even better idea... to do a video with me while touring the house, to show people in Italy how agents in the United States differ in our approach of describing a property vs how agents in Italy do it.  It was a very fun and unique experience, and I was excited when I saw the video had garnered over 2300 views in only a few days.  While visiting stores and shops in town, people were actually coming up to me because they saw the video and wanted to let me know how much they liked it!  How special is that!  Take a look!
